United States private markets investment manager Adams Street Partners ($62 billion AUM) has appointed Chris Cho as Head of Investors Relations (Asia), succeeding Ben Hart who is departing after 10 years at Adams Street Partners. Chris Cho joined Adams Street Partners in 2017, and has raised around $2.2 billion from 37 Korean institutional investors (Chris Cho & team). Chris Cho has 18 years of asset management & financial industry experience at Mirae Asset Global Investments, Shinhan BNP Paribas Asset Management, Lazard Asset Management & Adams Street Partners. Announcement (26/2/6):” Adams Street Partners LLC, a private markets investment management firm with more than $65 billion in assets under management (“Adams Street”), today announced that Chris Cho, Partner, Investor Relations, has been promoted to Head of Investor Relations (Asia). In this role, Chris will lead the firm’s regional investor relations strategy and client engagement efforts across Asia-Pacific, excluding Japan. He will assume the role in February and succeed Ben Hart, Partner & Head of Investor Relations (Asia), who will be departing the firm after ten years of service. Chris will be based in the firm’s Hong Kong office in the second half of 2026, partnering with clients across the region to support their long-term investment objectives. Chris joined Adams Street in 2017 and has played a central role in building the firm’s institutional investor base in Korea.
