Top banks including Citigroup, Goldman Sachs & Morgan Stanley are allowing their staff in United Arab Emirates (UAE) to temporarily exit UAE, and work remotely after Iran attacked UAE with missiles & drones.  In 2026 March, global banks are reviewing loan exposure to Middle East companies including to Middle East government entities & sovereign wealth funds.  The top 10 largest companies in Middle East are Saudi Aramco, International Holding Company (IHC), QNB Group, Saudi National Bank (SNB), alrajhi bank, Emirates NBD Group, First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), stc Group, Kuwait Finance House (KFH) & Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB).  In 2026 February, United States & Israel launched a joint air-attack on Middle East country Iran on 28th February 2026 (Saturday).  Middle East airspace has been shut down. Iran GDP is at $475 billion, and has around 93 million population.  The top 5 largest oil producers in the world are United States, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Canada & Iran.  In 2026 March, UAE stock exchanges (Dubai Financial Market Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange & Nasdaq Dubai) reopened on 4th March 2026 (Wednesday), after a 2-day suspension (2/3/26 to 3/3/26).  In 2026 March, United Arab Emirates (UAE) authorities announced to pay for hotel stays & meals expenses of around 20,000 stranded travellers, due to shut down of Middle East airspace after United States & Israel launched joint air-attack on Middle East country Iran.
