United States biopharmaceutical company Neurocrine Biosciences ($13 billion market value) has announced to buy Soleno Therapeutics for $2.9 billion in all-cash deal. Soleno Therapeutics was founded in 1999 as Capnia, and rebranded to Soleno Therapeutics in 2017 after merger with Essentialis to focus on rare diseases including Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS).
