United States wearable fitness company Whoop ($10 billion valuation) has filed a lawsuit in United States Delaware against 20-employee health startup Bevel for alleged copying app designs, copyright infringements & patent violations.  In 2026 March, United States wearable fitness company Whoop raised $575 million in Series G funding at $10.1 billion valuation, and plans for IPO.  Whoop was founded in 2012 by Will Ahmed, John Capodilupo & Aurelian Nicolae.  Whoop investors include Collaborative Fund, 2PointZero Group, Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), Mubadala Investment Company, Abbott (ABT), Mayo Clinic, Macquarie Capital, Glade Brook, B-Flexion, IVP, Foundry, Accomplice, Affinity Partners, and Bullhound Capital, Cristiano Ronaldo, LeBron James, Rory McIlroy, Reggie Miller, Niall Horan, Karen Wazen, Virgil van Dijk & Shane Lowry.
