J. Safra Sarasin Appoints Vinay Gandhi as CEO Singapore
J. Safra Sarasin has appointed Vinay Gandhi as CEO in Singapore with effect from 26th January 2018 and will report to Enid Yip, CEO Asia. He replaces Benedikt Maissen, who had left the bank in January 2018. Vinay will continue with his existing role as the CEO of UHNW Asia division.

Vinay has more than 26 years of wealth management experience in Asia. In 2017, he joined from UBS, where he was the Managing Director and Regional Market Manager for UHNW for Southeast Asia at UBS, leading a team of 150 people in Asia. Prior to UBS, he was with Citigroup Private Bank and Commerzbank.
Alongside his appointment, the bank has added 25 new relationship managers for the UHNW Asia division. J Safra Sarasin manages $167bn in client assets and has 25 locations in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. In Asia, the offices are in Singapore and Hong Kong. Reported AUM in Asia was $17 billion at the end of 2016.
