British billionaire James Dyson, who in 2019 relocated his Dyson headquarters to Singapore and bought a 3-storey Penthouse for $54 million (S$73.8 million), had sold the penthouse for $47 million (S$62 million), around $7 million or 13% lower than his purchase price after just 1 year.

$47 million Singapore Penthouse at Wallich Residences
The now $47 million Singapore penthouse at Wallich Residences, occupies 3 storey at Singapore’s tallest building at the 64 storey Guoco Tower in Tanjong Pagar. The 21,000 square feet penthouse comes with a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, a 600-bottle wine cellar, private lift lobby from the basement carpark and an unblocked view of the Singapore’s southern sea, financial district. The penthouse was first listed for more than $74 million (S$100 million) before James Dyson bought it in 2019 for $54 million (S$73.8 million).

The buyer from James Dyson is US citizen and billionaire Leo Koguan, who is the Chairman of IT provider SHI International. Leo Koguan was born in Indonesia.
James Dyson is the founder of Dyson and inventor of Dyson vacuum cleaner. James Dyson still owns a $37 million 15,000 square feet bungalow that overlooks UNESCO World Heritage site Singapore’s Botanic Garden, and has an infinity pool and indoor waterfall.
