China online video streaming platform Leshi (LeEco, LeTV, Le.com) has been ordered by a China court to pay investors $274 million (CNY 2 billion) for suffering losses due to false financial statements.  Leshi is founded by Jia Yueting in 2004 who had fled to United States in 2017 to escape the company’s debt crisis and was found guilty in 2021 of accounting fraud from 2007 to 2016.
