The late billionaire David Gottesman widow Ruth Gottesman with $3 billion fortune has donated $1 billion to the Albert Einstein College of Medicine to cover the $60,000 annual tuition fee for students. Ruth Gottesman was an ex-professor at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and is the Chair of the Einstein Board of Trustees.  David Gottesman is a protégé of Berkshire Hathaway Warren Buffett.  David Gottesman co-founded investment firm First Manhattan Co, which managed $20 billion of assets. David Gottesman died in 2022.
