Credit Agricole Indosuez Wealth Management Appoints 22-Year Veteran Michael Kofman as Hong Kong CEO & Branch Manager Succeeding Olivier Livenais, Michael Kofman to Relocate from Switzerland to Hong Kong

Credit Agricole wealth management subsidiary Indosuez Wealth Management has appointed Credit Agricole 22-year veteran Michael Kofman as Hong Kong CEO & Branch Manager (effective 1/9/24) succeeding Olivier Livenais, with Michael Kofman to relocate from Switzerland (Geneva) to Hong Kong. In his new role, Michael Kofman will report to Omar Shokur (Indosuez CEO Asia), and his appointment is subject to the approval of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA). Michael Kofman is currently Indosuez Wealth Management Head of Structuring & Financing. Michael Kofman joined Credit Agricole in France 22 years ago (2002) as an audit manager, and prior, was with BNP Paribas in Credit Risk & Corporate Banking. In 2007, Michael Kofman was appointed as Credit Agricole Regional Head of Internal Audit (Japan) and in 2010, relocated to Switzerland Credit Agricole wealth management business (Indosuez / Credit Agricole Private Banking) as Head of Credit Solutions for UHNW clients. In 2019, Michael Kofman was appointed as Head of Structuring & Financing for Indosuez Wealth Management. In 2016, Credit Agricole Private Banking was renamed to Indosuez Wealth Management. Credit Agricole is one of the 3 largest banks in France (BNP Paribas, Credit Agricole, Societe Generale). Outgoing Hong Kong CEO Olivier Livenais was appointed as Indosuez Wealth Management Hong Kong CEO in 2020. Olivier Livenais had joined Credit Agricole 24 years ago (2000) in audit. In 2007, Olivier Livenais joined Credit Agricole wealth management business, and numerous roles including Managing Director in-charge of Finance & Strategy, Risk, Compliance & Legal, CEO United States, Head of Business Development and is a member of Indosuez Executive Committee.
