British-India visual effect & animation studio DNEG Group has received $200 million investment from UAE-based (United Arab Emirates) United Al Saqer Group at $2 billion valuation, with the $200 million investment to be deployed into content production & artificial intelligence-powered technology. DNEG (2/7/24): “This investment enables the DNEG Group to accelerate its strategy of innovation and diversification to evolve from a pure services provider to a content production and AI-powered technology partner, providing the highest quality solutions across media, entertainment, and gaming.”
