UK resident, Netherlands citizen, billionaire, co-founder & Chairman of private equity firm CVC Capital Partners ($19.6 billion market value, $227 billion AUM) Rolly van Rappard (age 64) with $1.5 billion fortune has been reported to be planning to relocate from London to Milan in Italy.  CVC was founded in 1981 by Citigroup as Citicorp Venture Capital, and became independent (Spinoff) in 1993 to create CVC Capital Partners co-founded by Donald Mackenzie, Steve Koltes & Rolly van Rappard.  In 2024, CVC IPO on Netherlands Euronext Amsterdam at €14 billion valuation (Current market value at €17.5 billion / $19.6 billion).  In 2025, CVC has $227 billion AUM.  In 2025 April, Goldman Sachs Vice-Chair & CEO International Richard Gnodde was reported to be relocating from UK London to Italy Milan.  Richard Gnodde joined Goldman Sachs 38 years ago in 1987, was appointed as President of Goldman Sachs Singapore & Co-Head of Investment Banking Asia in 1999, and appointed as Co-CEO of Goldman Sachs International in 2006.  In 2025 April, UK billionaires & real estate siblings Ian Livingstone & Richard Livingstone with $8 billion fortune have changed their residencies from UK to Monaco between 2025 March & April.   Also in 2025 April, billionaire, Egypt richest man & UK resident Nassef Sawiris (Age 64) with $10 billion fortune is exiting the UK due to end of UK tax benefits for non-domiciled residents and is currently a resident of Italy.  In 2023, Nassef Sawiris announced to relocate his family office NNS Group to Abu Dhabi.   In 2025 April, UK-based billionaire & Chairman of the world’s 2nd largest steel maker ArcelorMittal ($22 billion market value) Lakshmi Mittal with $18 billion fortune is considering to leave UK with the end of UK tax benefits for non-domiciled residents.  Lakshmi Mittal relocated to UK in 1995.   Profile – Rolly van Rappard is the Non-executive Chair of the Company’s Board and an employee of CVC Advisers Limited. He is a co-founder and former chair of CVC, having joined in 1989.  Prior to joining CVC, Rolly worked for Citicorp in corporate finance in London and Amsterdam.
