United States teenage jewellery fashion brand Claire’s Holdings has filed for United States Chapter 11 Bankruptcy with $1 billion to $10 billion in liabilities & assets, and planning Canada operations to file for creditors arrangement. Claire’s Holdings was founded in 1961 by Rowland Schaefer as Fashion Tress Industries. Claire’s Holdings IPO on Nasdaq in 2005, and was acquired by private equity firm Apollo for $3.1 billion in 2007. In 2018, Claire’s Holdings had filed for United States Chapter 11 Bankruptcy, and exited the bankruptcy in 2022.
