United States real estate investment manager Hines ($90 billion AUM) is launching discretionary investment services in Asia for UHNWs & family offices, with discretionary assets accounting for around 1/3 of Hines $90 billion AUM. In 2025, Hines appointed ex-Goldman Sachs & Carlyle Group Hao Zhan as Head of Asia, Private Wealth Solutions based in Hong Kong. Hao Zhan joined Hines in 2025 January, after more than 13 years at Carlyle Group (Head of Asia, Global Wealth) and Goldman Sachs (Institutional Sales).
