Indonesia P2P (Peer-to-Peer) lending platform Investree co-founder & fugitive Adrian A Gunadi has been repatriated from Qatar to Indonesia.  In 2024 October, Indonesia Financial Services Authority (OJK) ordered Investree to shut down all operations after failing to meet minimum equity requirement of $480,000 (7.5 billion rupiah).  Investree was co-founded by ex-Citigroup banker Adrian A Gunadi in 2015, who resigned as CEO (31/1/24) and admitted wrongdoings to board including transferring funds to personal account.   Investree had raised funds of $280 million, and had valuation of around $1 billion to $1.4 billion valuation.  In 2023, Investree raised $231 million in Series D funding from JTA International (Qatar) and SBI Holding.  In 2022, Investree raised $23.5 million in Series C from MUFG Innovation Partners (MUIP) & BRI Ventures.
