China robot startup Galbot (Galaxy General Robotics) has raised $300 million in new funding at $3 billion valuation.  In 2025 June, Galbot raised $153 million in funding round at above $1 billion valuation.  Galbot was founded in 2023 by Peking University Professor He Wang.  Galbo investors include CATL (Xiamen Puquan Private Equity Fund Management Partnership), Beijing Robotics Industry Fund, Jiyuan Capital, GGV Capital, CICC Capital, Chinese Academy of Sciences Fund, Suzhou Venture Capital, CMG Media Fund & Tianqi Co.  Galbot – Galbot is an innovative start-up, founded in May 2023, committed to developing robots with embodied AGI to deliver general-purpose robots worldwide. Our team includes world-leading researchers in robotics, embodied Al and multimodal large models, with over 100 academic publications. Our team also has extensive experience in creating robot products, with previous products achieving sales in the tens of millions. The company has established research and development centers in Beijing, Shenzhen, and Suzhou. It has also set up a joint laboratory with Peking University (PKU), and a research center with Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence (BAAI), for the research of embodied AI. Currently, the company has a team of over 80 people specializing in algorithms, software, and hardware development, and the team is rapidly growing.
