Malaysia luxury & retail conglomerate Valiram Family Office has announced to buy stakes in Malaysia retail & office building The Exchange TRX (60% stake in retail mall & 40% stake in office tower) for $268 million (AUD 400 million) from Australia property group Lendlease ($2.4 billion market value). Valiram Group was founded in 1935 by Utumal Valiram with business in textile trading. Valiram Group is currently led by 3rd generation Sharan Valiram, Ashvin Valiram & Mukesh Valiram (All 3 are sons of 2nd generation Jethanand Valiram who died in 2017).
