United Arab Emirates (UAE) Abu Dhabi has announced the launch of the 4th Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund L’IMAD Holdings to invest in assets & projects across priority sectors in UAE & worldwide.  The priority sectors include infrastructure & real estate, financial services & asset management, advanced industries & technologies, urban mobility and smart cities.  L’IMAD Holdings will support Abu Dhabi sustainable economic growth, diversify revenue sources & achieve optimal investment returns.  UAE Abu Dhabi 3 other sovereign wealth funds are $1.1 trillion Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), $330 billion Mubadala Investment & Abu Dhabi Development (ADQ).  Announcement (12/1/26): “The Supreme Council for Financial and Economic Affairs (SCFEA) has issued a resolution to form the Board of Directors of L’IMAD Holding Company (L’IMAD), chaired by His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.  The board includes His Excellency Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak; His Excellency Jassem Mohamed Bu Ataba Al Zaabi, as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer; His Excellency Dr Ahmed Mubarak bin Nawi Al Mazrouei; His Excellency Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa; His Excellency Saif Saeed Ghobash; His Excellency Waleed Al Mokarrab Al Muhairi; and His Excellency Kamal Ishaq Almaazmi as members.  L’IMAD was established as a sovereign investment platform of Abu Dhabi Government, mandated to support sustainable economic growth, diversify revenue sources, and achieve optimal investment returns for the emirate.  Through an integrated investment approach, L’IMAD develops and manages a diversified portfolio of assets and projects across priority sectors within the UAE and internationally, including infrastructure and real estate, financial services and asset management, advanced industries and technologies, urban mobility, and smart cities.  L’IMAD also works with local and international partners to create long-term economic and social value, and reinforce Abu Dhabi as a global centre for investment and innovation.”
