Iran collapsed Ayandeh Bank founder Ali Aliakbar Ansari (Age 64) with $477 million (€400 million) property portfolio was sanctioned by UK in 2025 October for financing Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.  Ali Ansari $477 million (€400 million) property portfolio include 12 mansions in London (The Bishops Avenue, Billionaire’s Row), 2 hotels in Germany (Hilton Frankfurt City Center & Hilton Frankfurt Gravenbruch), a 5-star hotel Schlosshotel Kitzbühel in Austria, a luxury ski resort in Austrian Alps, and Steigenberger Golf and Spa Resort in Camp de Mar (Mallorca).  Ali Aliakbar Ansari offshore companies are in Luxembourg, St Kitts, Nevis, Austria, Germany & Spain.  Ayandeh Bank collapsed in 2025 with $5.1 billion losses.  UK Announcement (30/10/25): “The UK government has today announced sanctions against Ali Aliakbar Ansari for his role in financially enabling the work of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).”  UK Minister for the Middle East, Hamish Falconer: “The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) is one of the most powerful military organisations in Iran, reporting directly to the Supreme Leader. Its use of repression and targeted threats to carry out hostile acts, including here in the UK, is completely unacceptable. We will continue to take action to call out and tackle such behaviour.  Today we are announcing sanctions against corrupt Iranian banker and businessman, Ali Aliakbar Ansari, for his role in financially supporting the activities of the IRGC.  This designation sends a clear message – we will not tolerate threats from the IRGC and will not hesitate to take the most effective measures against them … … The following individual is today sanctioned by the UK government and subject to an asset freeze, director disqualification and travel ban: Ali Aliakbar Ansari.”
