United States private equity firm American Industrial Partners ($17.5 Billion AUM) has announced to buy United States medical technology company Avanos Medical for $1.272 billion in all-cash deal. Avanos Medical was formed in 2014 as Halyard Health in spinoff from Kimberly-Clark, and rebranded to Avanos Medical in 2018. Avanos Medical current market value at $1.2 billion, share price +119.2% YTD, +98% last 12 months & -45.3% last 5 years. Avanos Medical – Avanos Medical, Inc. is a medical technology company. Avanos Medical conducts its business in two operating and reportable segments that provide its medical device products to healthcare providers and patients. Avanos Medical has manufacturing facilities in the United States, Mexico and Canada. Within Avanos Medical’s reportable segments, it provides a portfolio of innovative product offerings focused on Specialty Nutrition Systems and Pain Management and Recovery to improve patient outcomes and reduce the cost of care. American Industrial Partners – American Industrial Partners is an operationally oriented industrials investor with approximately $17.5 billion in assets under management.
