UK brokerage CMC Markets ($1.4 billion market value) has announced the merger of Singapore entities, and will be launching multi-asset platform in 2026 to allow clients to invest in shares, wealth products, contracts for difference (CFDs), options & crypto and to manage credit card. There is no change to CMC Invest stockbroking platform. CMC Markets was founded in 1989 by Peter Cruddas. Announcement (5/5/26): “CMC Markets announced today that it will merge its CMC Invest legal entity, (“CMC Markets Singapore Invest Pte Ltd”) into the main CMC Markets entity in Singapore, clearing the way for the launch of its multi-asset platform in the coming months. Clients on the CMC Markets platform will see new features and functionality as the multi-asset platform launches. There will be no change to the CMC Invest stockbroking platform, and Invest clients can continue to use it as usual. CMC has been in Singapore for 20 years and maintains local partnerships in sport and talent development. The firm is committed to investing in platform development, education, and local engagement as it prepares for its next phase of growth in the region.”
