Ex-Blackstone Managing Director & Morgan Stanley investment banker Erik Moresco UK investment firm Victory Group has bought Scotland 5-star luxury hotel Cameron House for $136 million (£100 million) from KSL Capital Partners.  Cameron House features 208 bedrooms, 115 lodges & apartments, cinema, marina & a 18-hole golf course.  Victory Group property portfolio include Fairmont Grand Hotel Geneva (Switzerland) & Netherlands Zudo project (Former ABN AMRO headquarters building in Amsterdam).  Victory – Victory is a leading investment firm focused on real estate and hotels throughout Western Europe. Victory Advisors Limited (FRN934342) is an Appointed Representative of Duff & Phelps Securities Limited (FRN466588) which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.  Erik Moresco – Erik is the Founder and Managing Partner of Victory.  He created Victory in 2009 with the aim of creating a firm where he and other like-minded professionals could undertake ambitious projects. Carefully hand-selecting investments allows Erik and senior management to remain more personally involved than they could at traditional larger investment firms.   Prior to joining Victory, Erik was a Managing Director at Blackstone where he was responsible on behalf of the firm’s real estate private equity funds across nine European countries. Before this, he spent nearly six years with Morgan Stanley’s investment banking division in their New York, London, and Paris offices, working on mergers and acquisitions, LBOs, restructurings, debt and equity issuance as well as real estate private equity investment.  Erik received a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University and has native-level fluency in English, French, and Spanish. He has lived and worked throughout North America, Latin America, Europe and Africa.
