United States brand management company WHP Global and United States apparel company G-III Apparel ($1.3 billion market value) via 50/50 joint venture have announced to buy fashion brand Marc Jacobs for $850 million from France luxury giant LVMH ($277 billion market value) in all-cash deal. Marc Jacobs was founded in 1984 by Marc Jacobs and Robert Duffy.
