Hong Kong hedge fund Ovata Capital ($1.5 billion AUM) is reported to be closing down with founder James Chen & majority of staff to join United States hedge fund ExodusPoint Capital Management ($15 billion AUM).  Ovata Capital was founded in 2017 by ex-JP Morgan, Bear Stearns & Barclays Capital Managing Director James Chen (Joined BlueCrest Capital Management in 2017 as Portfolio Manager, Head of Asia Equity Multi-Strategy Fund & Head of Hong Kong Office).  ExodusPoint was founded in 2017 by ex-Millennium Management Michael Gelband & Hyung Lee.  Ovata Capital – Ovata Capital is a Hong Kong-based investment manager, established in 2017.
