United States Senator Elizabeth Warren has called for central bank leaders to be banned from trading individual stocks, with the recent disclosures by the Chiefs of United States Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and Dallas to have actively traded stocks and investments in 2020. The discovery was first surfaced by Wall Street Journal reporting United States Dallas Fed President Robert Kaplan and Boston Fed President Eric Rosengren had actively traded stocks and other investments in 2020. United States Dallas Fed President Robert Kaplan, who had worked at Goldman Sachs for more than 20 tears, had traded interest rates, share futures and share transactions of over $1 million each, and traded stocks including Apple, Alibaba, Amazon and General Electric.
