Hong Kong billionaire Rita Tong Liu with $2.5 billion fortune real estate investment company Gale Well Group has sold the 26th floor of The Center for $44 million (HKD 345 million) to the Law Society of Hong Kong, which is 50.2% lower price than buying price (HKD 693 million) in 2021. Gale Well Group was founded in 1976 by Rita Tong Liu & her brothers (Jacinto Tong Man-leung & Luis Tong). In 2024 November, Singapore largest bank DBS bought the 75th floor of The Center (6/11/24) in Hong Kong for $83 million (HKD 646 million). In 2024 September, DBS bought the 66th floor of The Center for $90 million (HKD 700 million). Both 75th Floor & 66th floor were bought from Hong Kong tycoon David Chan Ping-chi.
