Denmark leading offshore wind power & renewable energy group Ørsted ($14 billion market value) is raising $9.3 billion in new share placement via rights issue. Ørsted current market value at $14 billion, with share price -44.9% YTD, -51.8% last 12 months & -79% last 5 years. Ørsted was founded in 1972 by Denmark state-owned company Dansk Naturgas, and later named as Dansk Olie og Naturgas A/S (DONG). Ørsted – Ørsted is the global leader in offshore wind power and is one of the largest renewable energy companies in the world.
