Australia Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) with $22 billion AUM has announced to invest $47.1 million (AUD 70 million) in Australia QIC Global Infrastructure Fund II, which invests in infrastructure supporting energy transition (include smart metering, decarbonisation of transport & renewable energy). Announcement (19/1/26): “The CEFC has committed $70 million to the QIC Global Infrastructure Fund II (QGIF II, the Fund) to drive the decarbonisation of two of Australia’s highest-emitting sectors – energy and transport. The investment will also accelerate the transition to net zero by driving down emissions across the entire value chain, targeting Scope 3 emissions.
