Canada gold mining group Eldorado Gold ($7 billion market value) has announced to buy Foran Mining Corp for $2.8 billion (CAD 3.8 billion) in share merger (With additional $0.01 cash per Foran share), representing +8% premium to 20-day volume-weighted average trading price (30/1/26). Eldorado Gold was founded in 1992 by Principal Founder George Albert Burns. Foran Mining Corp was founded in 1989.
