Barclays Private Bank is on track to setup a booking centre in Singapore in 2026 (Announced in 2024 November), providing clients with comprehensive wealth offering & ability to book assets in Singapore.   Barclays (26/11/24): “Barclays announces its plans to establish a new Private Bank booking centre in Singapore. The new booking centre reinforces Barclays Private Bank’s commitment to expanding in Asia as it continues to provide specialist investment, banking, lending and wealth advisory services to its ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients and global family office (GFO) clients.   Through the Singapore booking centre, Barclays Private Bank will offer clients a comprehensive wealth management offering, with the ability to book assets locally. It will leverage its partnership with Barclays Investment Bank to deliver an integrated ‘one-bank’ proposition that will provide clients with quasi-institutional investment solutions, including access to more sophisticated financial products and cross-asset class offerings. He was also Head of Client Portfolio Management, overseeing the overall business development for the team.
