Ex-Microsoft CEO & billionaire Steve Ballmer (Age 69) with $160 billion fortune wife Connie Ballmer has donated $80 million to United States non-profit public radio network NPR, which received total $113 million donation (Include $33 million from an anonymous donor).  NPR – NPR is an independent, nonprofit media organization that was founded on a mission to create a more informed public. Every day, NPR connects with millions of Americans on the air, online, and in person to explore the news, ideas, and what it means to be human. Through its network of member stations, NPR makes local stories national, national stories local, and global stories personal.  The mission of NPR is to collaborate with Member Stations to cultivate an informed public, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of events, ideas, and cultures. To achieve this, we produce, acquire, and distribute programming that upholds the highest standards of public service in journalism and cultural expression. We also advocate for our members’ shared interests and provide satellite interconnection for the entire public radio system.  Ballmer Enterprises is the family office of Steve Ballmer (ex-Microsoft CEO) & wife Connie Ballmer.  Ballmer Enterprises manages more than $120 billion of family assets.  Steve Baller & wife Connie Ballmer family has an estimated fortune of $140 billion.  Microsoft has a market capitalization of $3.03 trillion (21/2/25). Steve Ballmer is also the Chairman NBA basketball team Los Angeles Clippers, with shareholding held under Halo Sports & Entertainment and supported by Ballmer Enterprises.  The Ballmer family also operate social & philanthropic groups – Ballmer Group Philanthropy, Rainier Climate Group & USAFacts.  Steve Ballmer was the the CEO of Microsoft (2000 to 2014), which is the largest personal computer & software company in the world.  In 2024, Microsoft generated $245 billion in revenue.  In 2026 January, Steve Ballmer was attempting to dismiss Aspiration investors fraud lawsuit in channeling funds to NBA basketball team LA Clippers Star Kawhi Leonard to avoid NBA salary cap.  The first lawsuit was filed against Aspiration & executives in 2025 July, with Steve Ballmer named as defendant in amended lawsuit in 2025 November. Steve Ballmer is owner of La Clippers.  Aspiration co-founder Joseph Sanberg pleaded guilty to wire fraud in 2025 October.   In 2021 September, LA Clippers & Aspiration announced a $300 million 23-year sponsorship deal.  Steve Ballmer invested $50 million in Aspiration in 2021 December / 2022 January.  In 2022 April, Aspiration announced $28 million sponsorship deal with Kawhi Leonard.  In 2024, Steve Ballmer $158 billion fortune overtook Microsoft founder Bill Gates with $158 billion fortune.
