Singapore Exchange (SGX) will be launching futures & options contracts based on MSCI Indexes (developed & emerging markets) – MSCI global & regional equity benchmarks, MSCI single-country developed & emerging market indexes and EM Asia sector indexes. The licensing agreement is structured to support institutional investors managing multi-regional equity portfolios via a centrally cleared venue in APAC time zone. Announcement (23/7/26): “MSCI Inc. (NYSE: MSCI) has signed a new licensing agreement with Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX) to introduce futures and options contracts based on a suite of MSCI indexes across global developed and emerging markets.
