UK outsourcing company OCS Group has announced to buy UK facilities management company Mitie ($3.6 billion market value) for $4.1 billion (£3.1 billion) in all-cash deal, representing +46.8% premium to Mitie unaffected closing price (20/7/26). Mitie was founded in 1987 by David Telling and Ian Stewart. Mitie current market value at $3.6 billion, share price +26.9% YTD, +48.1% last 12 months & +236.6% last 5 years. OCS Group majority owner is United States private equity firm Clayton Dubilier & Rice ($87 billion AUM).
