Barclays Private Bank Appoints 3 Senior Private Bankers in Singapore, Adrian Khoo, Jamie Huang & Ken Sze

Barclays Private Bank has made 3 senior private banking appointments in Singapore, with the hiring of Adrian Khoo (Julius Baer, BNP Paribas, Goldman Sachs, Macquarie) as Head of Strategic Client Coverage, Jaime Huang (Bank of Singapore , Citigroup, HSBC, ABN AMRO) as Private Banker, and appointing Ken Sze (Senior member of Barclays Private Bank Global Investments team as Global Head of the Funds and ETFs business) as Head of Investments Asia. These appointments follow the announcement of Evonne Tan in July 2021 as Head of Barclays Private Bank, Singapore. Adrian and Jaime will report into Evonne Tan and Ken will report into both Evonne and Jean-Damien Marie, Global Co-head of Investments, Barclays Private Bank. Adrian Khoo – Barclays Private Bank Singapore, Head of Strategic Client Coverage
Adrian Khoo has been appointed Head of Strategic Client Coverage, Barclays Private Bank, Singapore. In his new role, Adrian will provide coverage for key strategic clients of the Private Bank in Singapore, with a focus on collaboration with the Corporate and Investment Bank. He will also help to drive Barclays Private Bank growth strategy for the Asian market.
Adrian has over 16 years’ experience in the financial services industry and joins from Julius Baer & Co, Singapore, where he was a Senior Relationship Manager for South East Asia (SEA) covering Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) and Family Office clients. Prior to this, he has held senior roles at BNP Paribas Wealth Management, Asia Capital & Advisors, Goldman Sachs and Macquarie Bank.
Jaime Huang – Barclays Private Bank Singapore, Private Banker
Jaime Huang has been appointed Private Banker, Barclays Private Bank, Singapore and will focus on developing and growing the Private Bank business in Asia.
Prior to joining Barclays, Jaime worked at the Bank of Singapore and spent the last four years as a Director responsible for advising UHNW and Family Office clients in South East Asia and China. Jaime has over 18 years of private banking and investment advisory experience and has previously held roles at Citigroup, HSBC and ABN-AMRO.
Ken Sze – Barclays Private Bank Singapore Head of Investments for Asia
Ken Sze has been appointed Head of Investments for Asia, Barclays Private Bank, Singapore. Ken has relocated from London, where, for the past three years, he has been a senior member of Barclays Private Bank Global Investments team as Global Head of the Funds and ETFs business.
In his new role, Ken will be responsible for all Private Bank Investments business in the Singapore office. He will work alongside Private Bankers to develop investment opportunities and deliver end-to-end solutions for the UHNW and Family Office client base, as well as building out the supporting investment infrastructure. Ken continues to be an active member of the Barclays Private Bank Global Investments team acting as a champion for international Private Bank initiatives and developing Asian investment opportunities for the wider Private Bank client base.
