South Korea AI chip startup Rebellions has raised $400 million at $2.3 billion valuation, and plans for South Korea IPO in 2027 1st half. Rebellions was founded in 2020 by Sunghyun Park, Oh Jin-wook, Kim Hyo-eun & Shin Sung-ho. Rebellions investors include Samsung, SK Hynix, SK Telecom, KT Corp, Korea National Growth Fund, Saudi Aramco (Wa’ed Ventures). In 2025 July, Rebellions was raising $200 million at over $1 billion valuation, and planning for IPO after the funding round. Rebellions – Rebellions, a Korean AI accelerator startup, delivers industry-leading TPS/W through a dataflow architecture optimized for HBM and chiplet design. We provide AI accelerators for datacenters—including cards, servers, and rack-scale systems—along with our proprietary full-stack software that natively supports PyTorch 2.x and vLLM. We have begun mass production of our 5nm accelerators, which are already deployed across thousands of ATOM cards, powering commercial AI services for telecom operators.
