Qatar ex-Emir, royal family member & billionaire Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Than has died at age 74 (12/7/26).  Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani was Emir (Ruler) of Qatar from 1995 to 2013, with his son Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani (Age 46) succeeding as Qatar ruler in 2013.  Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani family has $330 billion fortune.  Qatar GDP at $217 billion with 3.2 million population.  In 2025 October, Qatar ex-Emir, royal family member & billionaire Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani (Age 73) hired top Goldman Sachs & Deutsche Bank senior executives for his family office Dilmon Capital, and has received regulatory approval to setup in Monaco.  Dilmon Capital had hired Goldman Sachs Monaco Co-CEO Arnaud Caussin (Barclays 22-year veteran, Co-Head Private Bank Monaco) as Deputy CIO, and hired Deutsche Bank 22-year veteran Global Head of Financing & Solutions Group Rashid Zuberi as COO.  Dilmon Capital CEO is Michele Faissola (Deutsche Bank 20-year veteran, Head of Asset & Wealth Management), who joined in 2018.  Lombard Odier Private Bank CIO Stephane Monie (JP Morgan & ADIA) joined as CIO in 2024 May.
