UAE sovereign wealth fund Abu Dhabi Investment Council (ADIC) has hired Australia sovereign wealth fund Future Fund ($166 billion AUM) 12-year veteran & Chief Investment Officer Ben Samild as ADIC Chief Strategist.  ADIC is a subsidiary of UAE Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund Mubadala Investment Company ($330 billion AUM).  Ben Samild – Ben Samild was appointed Chief Investment Officer of the Future Fund in August 2023, having previously served as DCIO,Portfolio Construction. As CIO, Ben leads the Future Fund’s investment team investing A$250bn across all asset classes and geographies, with a particular focus on stewarding the Fund’s joined-up whole portfolio approach.  He joined the Future Fund in October 2013, as Director,Alternatives, followinga 10 year career in the hedge fund industry, and 4years as Head of Investment Strategy at LUCRF Super.  Ben is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Standards Board for Alternative Investments.  Ben completed a 6 year undergraduate degree at the University of Melbourne majoring in behavioural finance, psychology and history, and has a Masters of Applied Finance.  ADIC – Abu Dhabi Investment Council (ADIC) is a leading sovereign wealth fund established in 2007, wholly owned by Mubadala Investment Company.  ADIC adopts an endowment investment model and consistently delivers outstanding returns by being the partner of choice to the world’s leading investors.
