Barclays Hires Goldman Sachs Mani Joseph as Head of Asia Special Situations

Barclays, one of the largest bank in UK, has hired Goldman Sachs Mani Joseph as Barclays Head of Asia Special Situations.  Based in Hong Kong, Mani Joseph will lead Barclays Special Situations franchise and build Asia flow credit business for Asia-Pacific, providing liquidity to clients across the regions through Barclays’ capability to source, underwrite, manage and distribute stressed and distressed risk.  Mani Joseph has a depth of experience in Distressed Trading and Structured Credit Lending, including Global Credit and Special Situations at Bank of America Merrill Lynch,Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley in the United States before relocating to Asia in 2007, and with his most recent role at Goldman Sachs managing Distressed Trading and Private Financing.  Mani Joseph will report to James Roberts, who is Barclays Head of Asia Credit Trading.
