United States private equity firm KKR ($758 billion AUM) & South Korea conglomerate SK ($24 billion market value) have created South Korea new & largest renewable energy platform at $1.3 billion valuation in solar, onshore & offshore wind, and fuel cells (Assets from SK Innovation, SK ecoplant & SK eternix). KKR will have management control in initial phase, and SK is equity investor.
